rfactor 2 video setup not keek my changes

Hi,
I have the problem that the game is crashing at startup. Not even one time I have been able to play.
One thing I note is that the video setup / and config.ini do not keep any changes I made. No matter what I do
On rFactor (2005) I used to copy the config.ini to the desktop>edit it>that put it back on rFactor folder for it to keep changes but not working for rFactor 2.

does making it read-only fix the overwriting?

 

No...

 

Just uninstall and then install in the C:/rFactor and it should work...worked for me
