Rfactor 2 / Steam / pay for MP ?

rF2 lifetime means just that; it's rFactor 2 forever (as long as it's supported). rF2 lifetime doesn't buy you rF1, and it won't buy you whatever comes next, whenever that happens. There's no generic "rFactor lifetime" option anywhere.

I think the whole issue now will become a friendly conceited thing.... " oh ffs man ! why don't you a get Steam version " lool ;)

If you Ozzie you can still get Non-Steam for $82.99AU
https://commerce.rfactor.net/purchase/select

Steam is $84.99US, that's $116.50AU.

$34 cheaper ( the $82.99 is based on the Australian dollar 4 years ago )

:p

( I told Tim about this years ago in case he was not aware, nothing he could do about it )

I wouldn't mind so much the 12USD fee for a years online via steam but the fact it wants to save your credit card details so it can auto renew annually is a bit problematic. Why Can't I just buy 12 months worth and that's it? I don't want to store my CC details anywhere. So there is no lifetime upgrade option either without rebuying the entire product.

I bought normal version in 2014 and I renew the subscription every year. Even if it will get more expensive than lifetime after some years, I feel happy to give ISI a little amount for all the developing they are still doing. I dont know any other game/sim where you still get free content added 4 years after the release date...
