rFactor 2 on Steam Q&A

As i said. I tried running both as a admin. This doesn't solve the problem.

 

I'm on the latest version of drivers for the card, so that's definitely not it. First thing I tried (twice). And while I know that by now I should be running 64bit Windows, I have some apps on the PC that don't like 64bit Windows that I still need to use, so a conversion to 64bit isn't the solution because the stand alone looks perfect. It also isn't FOV setting because while that was initially set to "10" in the Steam version, I set it to "Default" and that didn't fix it (my stand alone version FOV is set to "Default" and the field of view issue isn't present there. Working on this while waiting for Louis Hamilton to win the Interlagos race...:-D

 

I fixed both problems, so nevermind.

 

I just drove a race on my steam version, and the miles accumulated in that race did not apply to the steam achievement. I ran a session including qualifying.

 

I have seen this too. No race miles.

What " at this time" infers is any ones guess, mine would be it means in future you will be able to do this.

This issue of steam players not being counted in the RF2 MM player count, is that likely to be a permanent thing or can it be fixed in future? Thanks.

Interesting to see the negative reviews are hitting exactly the points people have been talking in forums for many years. The same points ISI don't want to change at all.

 

I won't go that far, I see the Steam change as a positive from all angles.

Ok i can migrate from non Steam Version to Steam Version. And please explain how to.

Maybe not the right place to post this, but I was wondering...

My rF2 subscription expired last week, but I'm very interested in upgrading to lifetime, is that still possible or am I simply too late? And if it still can, is it a problem that it's currently expired?

 

If you're not interested in upgrading to lifetime, why are you asking if it was still possible?
