    AMD released 64bit capable CPU's in 2003 and intel released a 64bit capable Pentium in 2004.

    10 years ago... ISI should drop 32 bits support :)

    Ah, that will turn again in a thread with people fighting about how many person play with Win XP (so 32 bit) and how many upgraded to Win 7 and more? No please, not again, sterile IMO. When they will have a stable 64 bits it will not be really difficult to maintain both dev branch for some times at least.

    Xp users won't get 64bit, regardless of whether they use the x64 version or not. So it probably is time to move on if they want to experience better things. :)

    No, just that it's being worked on. Jeremy still hoping for it to be in the next build, but that's not guaranteed (which is why we used the upcoming wording, rather than next, in the release). There were memory gains in 32bit, and if it is much longer, they will consider putting out a build with the changes made, holding 64bit until stable enough for the community to test.
