I would think its not just what system the fans want but what system best suits RF2 and the cost of the system in place, so whilst a Poll could prove good for us to see, the final result might not be in ISIs best interests.

I have had some delays and problems with Trymedia, but in the end it always was sorted out and I got the game installed.

I also like Trymedia, the only cons about it was the unlocks. If you got a pc upgrade and you ran out of unlocks sometimes it took up to a week before you got given more.

Steam would be a good alternate as well though.

Steam — it's the way forward, I'd say (at a guess) most new release games are supported by Steam.

Trymedia always worked fine for me. Sure, I ran out of licences and had to ask for more, but the service has always been great from ISI and I never had to wait long enough to miss a race.

Just please don't force steam on us.

...seeing as people generally aren't fond of change the result will most likely will fall towards Trymedia...I however don't think that system is the right way for the future. It might be ok now, but what about in 3-5 years?

And what in 3-5 years? We've already been using it for 5 years.

Really, really, really hope they don't use SecuROM. IMO, Steam is currently the best distribution platform, and I don't think that will change anytime soon. Would also be very neat if they integrated with the Steam friends list and server browser, but I guess I'm dreaming now :).

I like the ability to have multiple instances of rfactor on a single PC. Something the probably can't be done through steam.

although if loading times and methods are improved, that may not be required.
