    Hey there!

We just wanted to let you know that Justrace will soon be supporting rFactor 2.

So please let us know which tracks and cars (and possibly legit download links) you like so that we include them!

    You will be able to:

    1. Create your own session, like the one shown in the right for Belgium
    2. Vote for Weekly session where the most voted ones will be run
    3. See what other want to race and subscribe to an existing session or one created by them
    4. See all the session results
    5. Check your ratings and that of others
    6. Check leader boards for fast laps

In the near future we will also add

    1. Advanced League Management System
    2. Dedicated Server automation and control
    3. Live Timing and Track Maps
    4. Telemetry generation and analysis
    5. Setup database and sharing

Great idea, considering that race2play is dead now! I think if you add the items in steam workshop is enough to start.

Starting with stock content would be keen I guess. Definitely the Historic's around the old 60's tracks. Maybe start with the F3's as they are the most popular? But I would love to drive F1Eve's and Houstons as well. The ISI GT-Series around Silverstone, Portugal sounds interesting, too. Also Indycar and Nascar for the Oval fans should be there...

Sounds great :) So there is one thing that I'd like you to know and hope its not a big issue for you guys!

So you know how when starting a dedi server, it needs an installed mod for the car and track combo. Well, I asked here many times how I could create this on the fly but got no help.

So the only other way I found is to have 1 BIG rfmod with all cars and tracks. The only drawback for you guys is that you would need to have them all installed.

Hope its not a big issue, ideally we only create the server on the fly with a specific mod for the combo, but we could not find a way at the moment.

I agree and that's what we want to do! But server sessions are created on the fly by the user! You choose the car and track and the server will be started automatically. There is no manual work here.

We really hope that Studio 397 will give us a tool to create and install a mod dynamically :)

It is already being done for Assetto Corsa and Raceroom experience.

Until then, we dont have a choice...

    this will be great

or for now you can create a rfmod with only all official cars and official tracks.
all steam users have that contents, so no issue

Thanks that's a very good idea! Will start with ISI official content first while we test in Beta :)

Not really. I know many simracer, which have not subscribed to all the official content. Like myself, which is not interested in about half of the car content. :p Some official cars would be lying dead on my SSD just eating drive space.

Right, that's a very good point, SSD is expensive. In fact I had to move my rF2 out from the SSD to my other normal huge HD so that I can install lots of stuff...

Automatic server creation (and thus rfmod creation and installation) is crucial, as we want that the servers to be used for leagues and quick races to start automatically.

Did you try the experimental dedicated servers in your test?

when you install rf2 on steam you have automatic subscription to all official contents.
If you remove them it's a no sense, because there is always an automatic backup copy of official contents in your local steam dir.
So..... remove subscription to official contents don't free up space in your hd.
    It's useless
