We are out of beta for more than a year man.

You are saying that since you bought the game you should be entilted to have auto-update? Yes? Well you are but only if your ONLINE subscribtion is paid. If your subscribtion elapsed then you still are entilted to update your game but not via auto-update. Simple.
 
People don't read, how is this ISIs fault? Plus you're quoting a hate site, after a quick looks it's still the same knuckle heads who used to post there two years ago. :p

Installed via autoupdater and have the same error. Reinstalled using Lite download, no joy. Deleted the rFactor 2 folder contents from Program Files and STILL no joy. :(

Edit: Also tried installing Content version, get same error.

when deleting make sure all your rfactor2 files are gone by double checking your HD. Don't forget to put your .rfactor file on your desktop.
 
Some joy:
Switched to the 64-bit exe and it works. So why did three separate downloads not have a functioning 32-bit exe?
 
Have done a fresh install of 770 Lite on both my box and our server. No problems with either installs. Not able to restart weekend online (haven't tried off yet as I was testing something else). It appears to restart the weekend and then jumps straight back to where it was before.

Updater worked perfect but a few questions? does my machine convert of 64 bit automatically? ( it is a 64bit pc btw).. with MM the number of servers vary quite a bit each refresh and each new start, odes the concurrent server value need to be changed to include more or are they filtered to 770 's only and also at times I am unable to scroll down the full list according to side bar anyway? Like the color coding btw. Good work ISI running much higher settings for same if not slightly better fps.

maybe you had corrupted files in your download.

you will need a fresh install and don't forget before of BK you files
I used the autoupdater and all is working fine
 
Auto update worked fine for me. Build seems to be excellent and I THINK I'm seeing improved fps. Would there be any reason for that.....or am I hallucinating?

No you're probably running 32exe

You have to go to your rF2 core folder and rename the 64 exe by dropping the 64 on the name of it. Hope that makes sense. I'm stuck for words right now. :p

Various minor improvements. Memory even in 32bit could free things up if you were running settings too high before.
