I've tried all that Tim, thanks. Tried deleting CBash after auto-update, still huge FPS drop. Tried fresh lite install with just Corvette and Silverstone, still huge drop. Tried Portugal, still huge drop. Tried setting GPU to App controlled, still huge drop. Tried different settings, still huge drop.

Looks like I'm out of this software til next build and hope that build gets my FPS back to where it was for the previous 18 months. Sigh.
Thanks for the feedback on what you tried. Any idea what settings you need to adjust in sim to give you the biggest boost? Or get you back to where you were? Might help target your specific issue.

Horrendous.

Did the auto update. FPS have gone from between 60-90, down to 30 fps. All the same setting as before. ATI 7970, 13.4 drivers (which are the official supported drivers, no betas).

How can that happen?

For me, whats was killing my performance was antialising transparency in nvidia control panel. Turn it of and my fps goes from 35~40 to 80~90

i have a CrossfireX 7950 at drivers beta 13.10, give 40-50 fps on start line in silverston with 20 cars front me. Is ridiculus performance. This crossfire give Crysis 3 in high details 80-90 fps.
And when Crysis 3 has some complex vehicle physics, a comparison will make sense. In the meantime, we have to deal with rF2 alone, and please ask you for your full system specs? You can add them to your profile to save time in future.

I used the updater, worked flawless in all my rFactor2 installs. I can also confirm a 10 - 20% FPS jump.

Thanks ISI, coming along nicely!

The reflection is sharper and have more resolution i think, definitely it looks better and the sky isn't so reddish finally.

Everything works fine so far.

Thanks for the update!

Is there any more mirrors? The ISI mirror is 15Kb/s and the other one 115 kb/s. I had no luck with this update the game just crashes 100 % where I had a 50 % crash rate before the update. When I got it running it would be stable but would often get another crash when exiting the game. Trying a fresh installation now.

Whats been done to the graphics the tarmac looks terrible on all the tracks.
before build 240 look normal.

This build.

All game settings set to max videos are set the same time weather and so on.

After uninstalling rF2 completely I did a clean install with the lite launcher and put all the files, alphabetically back into the "Packages" folder.(did not install them!)
I managed to filter out those files that caused the game not to start.

I haven't done much posting here at the forum, but I have to say the developers at ISI have done a good job with frame rate. Thanks Tim
