    Good stuff, thanks ISI :)

Now here's hoping the cars that could really benefit from this (the DW12 is first to come to mind) will get a (small) update soon!!! :D

    - Tire planar contact compliances can now be adjusted based on tire pressure, etc

Just in any case...did you rebuild your player.json with this update? If so, the new player.json will have some assists activated by default. I`m just asking, because i don`t recognised those much difference to previous builds...

Usually that is not the case, almost always a new "feature" in rF2 requires car update to take advantage of it, which is why it might take months or years to get all these features to most cars. At least that was the case with CPM tire update. Hopefully the mod update process can speed up when moving to Steam only.

Has anyone been able to work out which cars allow you to adjust fuel mixture? I have tried 3 so far and no luck yet.

Christoffer Elliot, ISI, I still think there is a problem with getmod downloads being inadequatly slow when trying to download them through the Launcher... Joining the same server/downloading from the same links goes adequatly fast, normal speed when using Steam >view > servers... I hope it's adressable... There's obviously some kind of restriction in Launcher...

Don't think so in this case, stonec. It seems to be a fundamental change to the tires that addresses an issue I have been whinging about for years--too little grip at the rear of the car when the tires are under stress. It seems as though, due to camber, the parts of the tire that were not in maximum contact with the road were staying too cool and therefore had less grip. Now, with the more advanced temperature diffusion, this is lessened, presumably to a more realistic level. Try driving any car where you felt like the rear didn't have enough grip before and compare. I haven't had time to try too many, but every one that I have tried so far is a significant improvement. More than minimal; less than dramatic. But enough that I can honestly say cars I didn't drive before because this aspect bothered me too much are now fun to drive. Yes, it's that much better!

    Or it's all placebo ;)

I believe this was done on purpose to avoid your server's bandwidth from being entirely taken up by clients joining and downloading.

I can confirm that. The handling during wheelspin situations is much better. I deleted the old player.json to get a new one. All aids off, ffb multiplier etc as before. The cars behave better. I'm using a G27.

I appreciate your effort. However, I expected an official explaining of the feature. Some people are reporting different behaviour which is probably related to this but I understand that speculation is not what we need when a correct answer can be given by ISI.

I don't understand so much obsession about fuel mixture and skipping this as if it was a minor change ¿?¿?
