rFactor 2 Build 1084 Now Available!

Is there a direct link to download separately the "CorvettePClights" ? It's easy to delete it by mistake :o It would avoid the need to reinstall all rF2.

If you're on Steam the easiest way to get a Safety car back is to "Verify integrity of game cache"

Instructions:

  1. Load Steam
  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
  5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

Ahh ok thanks, at work now will look later. I subscribed to more mods last night so will take a look later when I'm home :)

Apparently I've been put on ignore by admins, but while I wait for a respond to my question I can tell you that the workshop-item which was downloaded along with build 1084 was this..

Ok thanks, different size to what I received but I'll have a look later. Wish it would be easier to see every time but I guess that's Steams problem!

302mb is the DATA, stored on hard drive and visualized as kb it will look a bit different, as 1mb = 1024kb and hard drives uses cluster sizes which gives a wee bit of "wasted storage"

314398kB is 307MB, a substantial difference. Cluster overhead doesn't show in a folder listing and won't be more than 32k or so for a single file anyway.

Also, please don't think you're in some special category because you haven't been answered for a day or two. Some questions never get answered, and certainly they don't get answered until someone who knows the answer comes along.

Then blame Steam for not showing "correct" size, but this IS the content which was being downloaded. I think we are getting off-topic though. Ohh, and thank you for your concern :)

Yeah it did re-download Spa, you can also see it from the Steam workshop component. Under the tab "Change Notes" it says: Update: 28 Apr @ 8:53pm. Anyway, it has probably nothing to do with build 1084 and I don't get what the fuss is about regarding 300 MB, it's peanuts when rF2 Steam install takes 30 GB space in total.

I don't care about the 300mb, I was just trying to help answer MarcG's question. If it was released the day before then that's that :)
