    Do you have a DisplayPort cable? I would try with that if your monitor has a DP input.

    24GB of Ram :confused:

    You are running 2x4GB + 2x8GB ?

    They won't support anything does not.

    Who makes 6GB memory anymore ?

    6GB is triple channel

    He has a new gen Intel how is that possible.

    besides the fact he said he upgraded from 8GB to 24GB ;)

    Using unmatched ram these days can cause umpteen errors depending on the combo and hardware and settings you use.

    It is a minefield

    Hi all,

    I found a potential workaround : De-activate the hardware V-sync.
    Using software V-sync or no vsync at all seems to wipe out completely this annoying HDMI black bars problem...
    I didn’t encounter this problem since then (~1 week so far)... crossing fingers.
