Nice view, especially the f2, pretty representative of really being in the car (high fov aside), too bad we cant change the horizon level ingame without touching the cam files.

Your horizon/vertical pointing angle of your view wasnt touched in that was it?

 

Hey Spinelli have you already tried this in your player.plr?

 

Interesting info Flaux... I`ll give this a try as I too find the default view looks "down" too much.

 

Ok I`ve tried this out and it definitely does give a better view imo but seems to make the walls in the first screen especially look "off" for want of a better word.

10.00000 is good but doesn`t show the info on the steering wheel.

10.00000 in player file:



I tried setting it to 8.00000 which gives a better view of the info on the steering wheel imo and also shows the garage walls in a more natural way too.

Definitely gives a more realistic view though so worth experimenting with I think.

 

I`ve noticed a couple of things with this change in the player file... this is after changing the seat pitch to the following:

Seat Pitch="8.00000"

It changes the cockpit view when looking left and right:





It also seems to change the "look back" view a little too... it seems to look more down the way with this change:

I think more experimenting is needed with this player file change but it is quite interesting and definitely does give a more realistic view imo...

Yep,I have edited it from a while,it gives a more realistic point of view and appears to reduce a bit little the distortion of the lateral screens!

 

Yeh it does give a more realistic view imo but seems to alter the other views too but I`m sure I can get used to that.

The differences in the AI views seem to happen anyway as I`ve experimented with putting the original settings back in the player file and the differences in the AI views seem to happen anyway.



One AI has a view similar to the player view but another AI seems to have a view that`s much closer in for some reason which I find a little strange...
