bwana, it got stuck for me too a few times, just showing a white page.
What worked for me was, to right click the white page and select reload.

Anyone else having the finer FFB details being a little dull? Me and Niki so far notice it. Would be great with more feedback on this.
FFB is good, but its on the finer details its duller than other cars. I usually feel small bumps and so the wheel is always giving feedback on details but in this car its kinda like it has "very soft tires/suspension" so that fine detail is lost. Good thing to test is NOLA cobblestone patch right after you start rolling out. On most cars you feel the cobblestone really well through the wheel but on the McLaren its barely there at all. I think i didnt feel it at all. Maybe 2% of the usual 100% in other cars. The GT3 cars are pretty stiff after all so little more detailed FFB i think would be super.

Yeah you're right. It feels mushy. Like it might be one of the first cars that might benefit from stiffening the suspension. Time will show if that does anything for it.
 
I had zero problems , just click on it ,
pay and then make sure you then "subscribe" to it then it will start to download
( exit & restart steam if it doesn't ) then make sure rfactor2 installs it ( exit & restart rf2 if it doesn't)

steam can be a bit odd sometimes but do as i did and all will be fine

Got mine working, if you have issues with not being able to purchase through steam client , try your browser , worked straight away
 
I've got 2 installs of RF2, DX11 & DX9, so the McLaren works fine in the DX11, but it isn't listed in the DX9.
It's installed, and I can see it in the modmanager of DX9 but there is no car in the car selector.
Anyone have a fix, I want to use it in the DX9 with the Trackmap plugin.

S397 don't have a very good PR machine ! They need to take note of SMS and their PR . I cant open Youtube without seeing 10 pCars 2 vids .

How are our lap times going to be recorded ? Will WFG site give us a link to click to start our game ? (I'm new to online racing , so it may be obvious to online pros , but not to me lol).
 
Just a few minor things
( not moaning )

-In VR centre interior consol is semi transparent , stuff behind is showing through

-Not sure if it's on update list but the main graphical steering wheel dials/buttons ( ABS , TC levels ) should be able to be mapped to ones own actual dials/knobs etc & graphical ones move accordanly to follow/match real hardware ones

We, outside the "first world" pay a lot less for this game (and pretty much every game on Steam), up to -55% :p
I can understand if they don't do the same for the DLC, would just like to have an answer if they'll do it or not so I can wait to buy when they active this option on their side or just buy it now.
 
I'm a bit confused why this isn't purchased through a normal DLC page in Steam, confused the heck out me and seems a strange choice to list it only on the store page. We're all so used to AC and Pcars having DLC listings and just click and buy. I've never had to use my steam wallet to purchase anything before either. I wonder if it can be moved to the DLC page or if this is a conscious decision by S397. Either way look forward to giving the new car a try.
 
After having subrscribed I can't get access to the server. The "Join Session"-button gives an error and tells me to try again later without any clue of what went wrong.
