Then ask a clear question, and I will try to help.
I commented a request to release cars with open physics files. Files, that may contain sensitive data... As I said, there are other cars with unencrypted files, we have already provided, for study.
If you want an easy access to sensitive data of a particular car, ask manufacturers and racing teams for that.

Lack of a better documentation is something we will be looking but writing an in depth description about each of hundreds of parameters is not something you can do in one evening.
Software documentation is an ongoing project, and is used as a tool to help the development itself, and not only the maintenance afterwards.

I agree with you, writing documentation is not something you do in one evening.

If ISI worked following widely used development standards, then it is an ongoing task since 2012, that only needs to be kept up to date by S397.

Cheers.

I'm very happy about how S397 was able to put up a rock solid structure to host this event. Consistent, reliable, stable, CTD free racing is the base upon which almost everything could be done.

3 Flying Dutchmen, 2 Brits & a Finn. Seems to be a lot of talent on the Eastern side of the Atlantic, mayhaps there is a bigger pool of simracers in Europe/Scandinavia I suppose.

Can someone explain to me please how this works out with 6 drivers left?
The 6 drivers were split into 2 teams, each with 3 drivers. Another 10 or so teams, among them McLaren management, are taking part to keep the track from appearing totally empty and to provide a racing performance check. This 24 hr race is mostly about gauging teamwork, ability to work when tired, and not making mistakes under long term duress. With a total of 8 hrs racing for each WFG driver, they probably also want someone who can race at a consistent level, to not sag in performance, compared to their pros.

This is very confusing to watch car number and windscreen number not matching , multiple cars with the same number 24 hours without night a bit of a joke really. Like the Forza 6 Bathurst challenge X box did where only one of the finalist had ever used a wheel with pedals to play race.

The windscreen number displays the position of the car in the standings (at the cross of the start/finish line). The car number is, well, just the car number.

I must say the information shown in the broadcast was somewhat limited. I would have liked to see the gaps between the WFG teams and some more clarity about who was in the car, what car the camera was pointed at, ...
Then again, the team was not really used to broadcasting iracing and I believe the choice to use iracing was made in a relatively late stage.
