rFactor 2 and McLaren - World’s Fastest Gamer!

Disillusioned with this competition, I do not think it is the best way to organize a week championship...a new mod, with too many setup options and available aids, I hope they do a good job cheking the fast laps It is relatively easy to gain time outside the track lines
 
1:58:04 on Silverstone from 2015 with this car. Saw a video but i dont know what the time is today. I asked mclaren. We'll see if they reply lol.

I got curious and did a quick google search. Found what I think is his personal youtube channel where he ask you to subscribe to his main youtube channel. The name of his main youtube channel is BlackGoku (yeah, THAT guy).

EDIT: For those who don't know, he was recently banned from this forum for insulting people, after said people pointed out that the mod he was promoting and taking credit for was in fact made of content stolen from other mods.

Pretty certain you have to register to see the ranking. On the other hand, I downloaded the list just to see the laptime distribution. Bulk of the entrants (16%) are in the 2:01s, with a long tail out to 2:13s (and some even slower strays). Those in the 1:57s represent 3% of the entrants.

2 timed laps 2.01.3 , mum always said I was average lol.

What is the TC and ABS situation with the Hotlap McLaren in World’s Fastest Gamer?
Is this allowed or compulsory ?
 
I am not in wfg but last night did a race weekend at Silverstone and my best lap was 2.10, how the hell is virtually everyone quicker than that? Lol. I couldn't even find another 5 seconds, let alone 13 to be at the same time as the aliens! How do you guys do it?

The aliens are using loose setups and have excellent car control capabilities, not overdoing it in the slow sections, but absolutely bombing it everywhere else. It's worthwhile joining the competition just to watch some of their laps.

First things first though... put some rubber down on the track and then work on your driving lines & car control with the default setup. Follow some slow AI if you have to, with a typical driver getting into the 2:06s on successive laps and faster (not alien) drivers getting a few seconds below that.
