kimikaze just ruined my day with this thread bump.

 

There is a date in thread's title, so I knew it's and oldie.

 

Yes today we must be very careful, where we ask some question. It may happen, that we ruin peoples day. Lol. Specially when people get bored, because has noting else to do, than waiting for a game.

Seeing the screen shot in the first post (posted in 2010) why in 2015 it's not still in the game?

 

Because graphics is less important than physics and force feedback in a sim.

 

There's little benefit of having decent rain effects without decent rain physics.

Besides, that was probably just an effect - not controllable in any way and not linked to weather. There's a long way to go between making some visual effect and making it work with the rest of the game - what was presented on that screenshot was really just the first step.

 

Here I thought there was some word by ISI about this only to discover it's a 4+ year old thread.

 

I don't suppose ISI would dig such an old thread. If they had news, they would post a new thread.

 

I hope they will open a new thread asap

I've also noticed rain drops on the new rF2 User Interface Malaysia background...
