Hey guy's I'm quite new to win7 and hopefully have an easy question for you. New Win7 Ultimate 64bit install All Win updates installed too Installed B860 lite with the default folders Re-Activated rf2 via the Launcher done rfconfig Installed the NSX and Mores Started the game (it used the 64bit exe) It stopped at the first splash screen Found out that the rfconfig file was back to default settings.... Did a trace then and it looks like it couldn't save anything... The original trace is much longer but it always tried the same actions with no luck... I also found it strange that rf wants to save in "\Fl+~61ux". My User Profile is "\Flaux" and it is set correctly everywhere in the Launcher and also during the installation process... strange... Any Ideas?
Seems as rF2 can´t write to that drive because it´s "protectet"". You need to force full administrator-rights on that drive, which is a little bit complicated. Right click on the drive--->Eigenschaften------> Sicherheit There it is burried. But I´m afraid you have to google for more, as I forgot in detail what to do there...
Thanks peterchen! I found an easier way to solve this: I simply installed rf2 in a new folder. not within "program files" That did the trick!
