RF2 won't recognize my G27 H-shifter

Hi all, this is probably a simple fix but I figured I would ask. When I first bought RF2 when it launched on Steam I wasn't using the H-shifter, just the paddles. Well I bought a new desk in June and I decided to connect the H-shifter and finally use it. Where or what do I need to do to get the game to recognize it? Do I need to just delete the wheel profile and start from scratch?

 

Connect the shifter to the pc, fire up rf2 and map the gears to your shifter (steering settings).
