@TechAde Im a Motec user since GTR2 and Atlas is a long learning curve to me... Any chance to make a script to transform csv into motec format? [PM if you like] Or: 1. Share any Atlas workbook for rF2 data? 2. Inform the variable units? Specially for “FilteredSteering”, “UnFilteredSteering”, “ffb”, “SteeringArmForce” My main interest (but not the only one) is to use this tool to "linearize" ffb output at low end forces and to be near the clipping region at max forces. Like in this thread http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...s-in-rFactor-2-The-key-to-being-in-the-Zone-D Thank you.
A quick partial reply, not at PC right now... 2. Those are unitless apart from steering force which is in Newtons. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
Thanks TechAde! So may I assume that FilteredSteering is a percentage of the wheel position [-1.0 to 1.0] and ffb numbers a percent of the generated forces at wheel?
This plugin is AWESOME!!!!!! but....the header row contains 176 columns while the data contains 184. Any idea which column labels I am missing? Here's an example output file I have https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Agy_4xLSfLm2dFJvRm55VVNtUzUzVk5tSUE0VHZ0Smc&usp=sharing Variable WheelXTerrainName has a value 'BROAD,ROAD,AROA', which is seperated by commas.
I don't use Motec sorry, plus I wouldn't want to impinge on their license agreement by writing a tool to create Motec data files. As for an Atlas workbook, I don't use them, I usually just add whichever parameters I'm interested in to Waveform Display.
The problem, as I think you've discovered, is the TerrainName values that have commas in them. 4 x 2 = 8, there's your extra columns. When I have some time I'll look at the feasibility of coding the plugin so that it removes any such commas in the data, however that's not going to be this month I'm afraid.
If you're an iRacing member you can get ATLAS Express from them, otherwise you can use any spreadsheet/graphing tool that can open CSV files (i.e. most of them).
@TechAde, and all: I need help on this. I did not see a Telemetry dir being created. I must have done something wrong here. Sorry, I am relatively new on this forum, especially on rF2 file structure etc. I downloaded the zip file (3.0.0.0 v), which contains two dll files and one config file. Please help me in detail how to install them: 1) which files go to where? 2) how to install? step by step? three paths I am looking at: C:/User/Owner/My Documents/rFactor2/UserData/Log C:/Program Files(x86)/rfactor2/Plugins C:/Program Files(x86)/rfactor2/Launcher/Plugins Thanks a lot guys
