We need this Stickied so we don't need to search umpteen posts.
Once I know things I'll update this post to reflect :)

As I understand it we need to open......

    UDP ~ 54297
    TCP ~ 64297

    Missed any/wrong protocol?

With regard to running multiple servers.

Can we open 54298 for a 2nd rF2 server or it needs to be 55297?
Or considering if there's a port # clashes can we use any UDP/TCP ports as long as same is configured in multiplayer.json?

You can use any ports you want as long as they don't conflict with other services and you set them in your Multiplayer.json. Also, on the sim port I normally open UDP and TCP but I'm not really sure if TCP is really needed. I will try to verify that today.

I tried hosting without TCP for the sim port and although the server was visible in the matchmaker, people could not join. After opening both TCP and UDP for the sim port everything worked like a charm!
