No probs bud, glad it helped some. You can add some SGSS on top aswell if you like, 690 will take it, but i like consistent decent fps which those settings give me.

Well mate I reckon Spa can still look like it`s a track from the 60`s but have the polish and top drawer textures too...

ISI are showing us now (and I never really doubted them tbh) that their graphics/textures etc are going to be top notch and I firmly believe that they could "update" Spa, Monaco and Monza to that spec and still achieve the historic, 60`s look and feel to them and as has been said, why wouldn`t you want that?

Monaco to me, was the best looking track... until Silverstone. I thought they did an amazing job of that track. I think it was the lighting or the cams positions... but wow

just keep both rfcmps DD ;)

I would expect Silverstone to be pristine glass obviously but in 1960s you did not have window cleaning contractors.

It would be better imo to have some smokey and stained glass even a crack or too.

Leave the perfect glazed look for modern is all I am saying.

Because the Historic tracks are fine imo.

With everything needs doing you rather they completely redo all the exisiting historic tracks.

What does this attitude say for quick converted tracks then, why does anybody bother with lesser quality then Silverstone if that is how you all think.


For mine the average user does seem to think rF2 is assured of being popular yet.
So if build time was too be limited through subscriptions wouldn't it be better to get all the other stuff done first. ?

Well imo D, as I`ve already said, I think ISI could keep the old, 60`s look and feel but still give Spa etc an update... I really don`t see how having those lovely new textures etc would take away from the historic content in any way myself, I think it would only add to it.

And on the other point, Tim said ages ago that the older content "may" get looked at but not before most (if not all) of the other stuff gets done, so ISI aren`t going to drop everything else they`re doing to go back to re-doing the historic content... if they do it at all (which I hope they do) it`ll quite some time down the line...
