Too much sharpening and under saturated IMO, gone too far

Jupp, gone a bit over the top with sharpening, i only use the irfan view standard sharpener wich creates strong aliasing..
I like the saturation more natural and unspectacular though, on my crappy netbook screen it looks spot on.

I corrected your incredible shot to my liking meaning less saturated :D

The "collimated look" of your shots is awesome btw, love the depth.

I'm in agreement about the colours, check post 7 page 1, that is what i like for mine, not for in game but for shots. This one is better although i would still prefer stronger black which would maybe make the colours burst a little more. Default though ISI do have a cartoony look going on i agree. And the sharpness in this edited one is more like it. Good work

Both unedited.
As soon as the shadows get fixed later on and don't disappear anymore (like in those 2 shots, all shadows are luckliy visible here), I'd be quite satisfied with the overall look. But for now, the disappearing shadows make it not that nice to look at. The hard transitions between the shadow quality levels (see shot #2) are also not the best, but we're getting there. :)

That second one is awesome, FONismo. Perhaps the big shadow at the bottom detracts a bit, but still a great picture.

Guys really; did you'll alter the pics or what?
On my screen, it doesn't look half as nice, even with all on high and 1980 res.........

Good image , really demonstraits the power of DOF effects personally I hate them when racing but for still images or replays they are really nice and help make the game feel more Real , Its funny how they have been used on console as a more advanced way to hide aliasing and popup.
I dislike false DOF hugely. If you seriously drive by looking where this image is in focus, you need to change your sighting. You should look as far down the road as you can. :) That's one of the first things they'll drill into you at any racing school
