Fixed in v1.4.2.1, thanksWorking with the clip events when ever I click an event the focus goes to an event other than where my mouse pointer is on.
It is normal. A clip just cut part of the VCR. A VCR created by rF2 does not have camera in it, so when it is loaded, rF2 focus automatically on you when you are in the replay. To focus on a given driver you must explicitally tell to rF2 to do it (it is what does the Cameras of a clip)I am most likely not doing it correct but when I have centered on screen chosen and select a particular event of a driver that is not me when the vcr is created it is me that is centered. Do we still need to use the add camera function to put the focus on the particular driver in the event.
I will check it, when you create camera in the tool, you can tell if this camera is in free look or not (after the camera type, you have two check box, "S" for spectator camera, "F" for free look). Normally the camera is in free look only if this "F" checkbox is checked. I will look if there is a bug. After a bit more use I have created VCR using different events and using add camera can get focus to correct car. When VCR is replayed it is in open move mode that is if I move my mouse while it is playing camera is in free move. I like the idea but think it should not be by default but rather just like with the game press the letter "U" on key board to enter free move.
The way rF2 work with camera is different from rF1, now rF2 change the camera only when the slider reach a camera event in the VCR, so the camera change will be missed also if you move manually the slider from before a camera event to after a camera event. I cannot do anything to fix that for now. When replays finishes if taken back to start to restart replay focus from original event is lost to the last vehicle in focus. IE if CAR 1 is first car in focus and then next event clip goes to CAR 4 it will be CAR 4 that has focus when replay file is rewound and again replayed instead of the original CAR 1.
As i finish by simply cut the orginal replay at the last clip end time, and as rF2 replay player have a predicted algorythm, maybe it is due to something like that. I will check if i have a way to cut more properly from an rF2 point of view.Going back to an earlier point of no car visible when replay finishes it looks quite odd to have red glow of brake lights and white glow of head lights while there is nothing in view that produces these light effects.
It is not possible, VCR does not have any graphical information, only rF2 related pure data.Is there anyway to use an export function to use VCR files we create with other video play software for viewing by those that do not have RF2?
Glad to hear that, and thanks for the feedback.I am having plenty of fun working with your plugin and can see a great future for it.
