so I’ve had this from the start, thought it was just the way it was but I will ask anyway.

Basically I’ve callibrated min and max for the pedals in rf2 controls config, yet the coloured bar that shows the progression of input as you press the pedal, reaches 100% on all three pedals while I’m at around 3-3rds pedal travel.
I’ve tried adjust sensitivity but no joy.

It makes modulation really quite hard and I have to turn pedal force way down so I don’t use 100% braking, acceleration while only pushing the say just passed half way ish.

No other sim does this for me,have I overlooked something or is it just the way it is.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

What brand of pedals are they?
Are you running the latest firmware and/or software for them?

I had a similar problem with my Fanatec CS V2 and I changed to a different base setup (there were 2 in the list when the game detected controllers for some reason) and it fixed the problem.

Yeah sorry I should have said that, fanatec v3 with latest firmware and driver.
    Just to clarify

Calibration in fanatec software shows min and max at min and max pedal travel,i min max them in rf2 calibration settings, yet the bar on all three pedals reaches 100% with just over 50%ish pedal travel.in rf2 calibration settings

There’s no preset for the v3s in the options for me,only wheel presets.
How do go about enabling the pedal presets.
I have them connected to pc via usb so I get full 12bit resolution.
I have a t300 wheel so can’t connect them to wheel

ok so i just loaded rf2 with only my pedals connected to the pc,now rf2 detects and loads a fanatec v3 profile, but still the physical and virtual pedal bars do not match

just shutdown and reloaded rf2 with fanatec profile and now the virtual and physical pedal bars match, thanks guys

From my knowledge of how rF2 handles controllers, theoretically, you don't really need to use the "Detect" or the presets.
Detect and the presets (sounds like a bad band name) are there to make it easier and quicker to get driving instead of editing ini or json files.

Anyway, glad you're, like, all physically and virtually, like, on the same astral calibration plane man.

I don't know if your hardware profiler works like Thrustmasters, but as you add multiple options, i.e. shifters and 3rd party pedals, you must ensure the wheel is the first option in Windows Control Panel. Get one thing working, then add one. ensuring they do not take over the first option in windows. Glad you got it working. enjoy.

I think it was you who told me this before,I still can’t fogure out which is assigned first in windows as it doesn’t tell me a placement number.

I’ll take a screenshot and maybe umyou can see what I mean, but it’s probab right there under my nose and I’m just too thick to see it lol

100% input at 3 thirds travel? Sounds about right... what's the issue?

Found this line in the Controller.json and also in the jsons in the Controller folder.
"Detect Rearranged Controllers#":"set to 1 if you change controller connections often and your wheel or pedals are sometimes enumerated differently",

Well picked up Ho3n3r, I even had to reread your post.
    Stupid brain.
