rf2 not touching edges of screen?

Hi,

I am trying to set up rf2 correctly on my pc. i have put the resolution as 1920x1080, but when I apply the change the screen becomes smaller than the monitor and not touching the edges? i have supported 1920x1080 previously, and i have tried all other resolutions but all are windowed in the same way. could someone please advise?

 

I used to have this on my old AMD card and it had to do with the card underscanning on my LCD as if it thought it was a TV from 1990. Every Time I installed new drivers I had to go back and fix the panel scaling options in CCC. So annoying.

 

I've had this as well. Seems to occur randomly in Windows, playing with the scaling options fixes it (not in the sim, in the graphics card applet). Then usually I format a few months later and it's fine.

 

Yep, played around with scaling and in game is fine, but all of the menus are scaled down?! Very strange

 

Is it 4:3 aspect ratio?

Do you have WidescreenUI turned off?

Open <DataPath>\UserData\Config.ini and look for this line:
WidescreenUI=1

Make sure it is a 1 and not a 0.
