Rf2 no common files

    Hi I have just done a new download of rf2 on to a new hardrive . Now I want to add plugin for Z1 dashboard. My problem is when I go to find common files for steam apps there is none for rf2 only project cars Any ideas !!! yes I downloaded both through steam so I thought they be put on the same path Cheers

    I'm going to assume you have a dll file for the Z1 software you want to place in rF2.
    Generally plugin dll files go into Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor2\Bin64\plugins

    yes I know I get as far as files common and project cars is there and no rf2 so I can't go any further

    @ADSTA the OP can't find the steamapps\common\rFactor2 folder.

    @Boy2u go to your steam library (and go to Games if it isn't there already), right-click on rFactor2 in the list (on the left), and go to Properties. Click on the Local Files tab, and click Browse Local Files. Then you'll see where they are.

    :oops: I shouldn't do this techie stuff at bedtime. Too tired to even notice he meant the common folder.
    I'll just blame Boy2u for saying files instead folder. Just joking.

    It's surprising, to me and I am a construction worker, how many people get that wrong.
    I tell people a pc is like a filing cabinet with each draw either a hard drive or a partition of a hard drive.
    Open a draw and there multiple folders or files.
    In a folder you can have more folders and or files, a file is the equivalent to each piece of paper.
