For me was absolutely insignificant things that 12 years later don't matter.
Like why does AB come before aa
Caps no caps hyphens underscore and or the lot
Name of content being prefixed
All that did from ISIMotor1.0 on was compound it.
rF2 I have 700 classes yes rF/GTR2 blame lol

You see, if that's my biggest worry then whom has been laughing since beta :D

I still say the biggest negative for ISIMotor was the users.
Look at the " not recommended " these are what drags rF2 /LMU rating into the mud.

49 hours and it never started
24 minutes game won't start
12 minutes so bad...
18 minutes game won't work with my wheel

The lot of them could not screw in a light bulb.
Now they go away cocky they made some sort of informed decision for others.

You don't not recommend something you can't get going that obviously 1,000 's have.
No you just go away till you get it working before you rate something ! unbelievable lol

8 out of 10 recommend it, they seemed to have worked it out okay.

a 1,000 problems...........

Well in my opinion you don't recommend something unless you have given it a proper test. lol
Oh wow you lot agree can diss something because YOU can't get it going.
imho that is just arrogant to think the problem could not possibly be with you.

Like I said the 4 reviewers I quoted above could not run a PC to save themselves, obvious by their comments.
Go and have a look at the nonsense they talk that is the people you defending.

I never said all, but the majority of negative posters post nonsense it is hard to believe they
are actually simmers.

Like .........

hard to set up, cant even move a car forward. ruined my son birthday gift

So he doesn't recommend it after 1.1 hour ?
Why didn't he just return it and get his boy another sim ?

I really confused and find slightly ironic what are all these peeps doing on all these sites posting thousands of threads about problems in all sims. I mean the rest are perfect :D

Everyone who tries the game has the right to review it. They may not be the same as you, because everyone isn't the same as you. This applies to all games, and your constant whining about people downvoting rF2 because you like it is silly.

You should be put in charge of marketing:
"rFactor 2: TWO games in ONE: realistic car racing and the even greater challenge of getting it to work!!!"

Of course users have the right to say what is wrong in comments that can actually reduce the appeal and therefore sales of rF2.

But please note that a lot of users only spend a few hours on rF2 knowing that it is a real simulation quote of a complex simulation of course, and that the time the opinions are not at all relevant and extremely negative.
(Not relevant opinions)

Personally I find these opinions therefore useless and it is wrong to rF2 when it is not at all deserved.

There are and there it is even worse as you can see many opinions of people who spent less than 3 hours on rF2 (often less than 1,5 jours), that is to say that in fact they have nothing of time to configure correctly of course, and that their opinions have only one objective it is to destroy the game and the developers.

What do you think of that ?

I really appreciate the insightful opinions of people who have actually spent a lot of time getting the most out of the game, finding solutions to get the best results, and understanding the necessary complexity of how it works, but the opinions that 8ball is talking about are opinions that have no reason to exist and are detrimental to everyone.

Give people some credit!
  • People looking at reviews are smart enough to not just read what people are writing, but to also look at the time the reviewer spent with the game, and take that into account.
  • The developers can use this, or any feedback really, to evaluate how they can improve the game further, and I am sure they will. Granted, the focus at Studio 397 is now on LMU, but these lessons can be applied there too.

Credit does not help the outlook of rF2 or LMU on steam when newbies go looking for a new sim to buy.
rF2 is 52% for the month, I mean be serious ? Why would you even look at it ?
But we just sit around asking for more features instead of doing something at least positive and give steam a review.
Clearly the positive people are in the majority which means we push that 52% back to 80% +

That could in turn help push sales which pushes development.
I never said it would but it's better then sitting on your hands for 12 years

All I said, steam reviews are littered by people can't even get ISIMotor running !
So imho they have no right whatsoever to not recommend any sim until they have properly tested it.

Anyone else does not agree I really don't care, as not up for debate, this is just an opinion.

Peace ;)
