the last build ( together with later nvidia drivers ) got rf2 working ( & looking good ! ) well for me, I drool at the thought of : good replay system (with editing like rf1) sound system sorted wet weather effects improvements ( I currently don't use them until they are more complete ) a few more ISI quality tracks ( a decent UI coming in the form of a mod ) all those small effects that ISI are becoming good at make a big difference too I hope things continue in this direction
Agree with you here, I'd go a little beyond and add improved lighting and color balance HDR off/on (maybe it can boil down to source textures), and a couple of cars in the same series but with different performance.
The unstable build (573) could be downloaded in the donwload/dev section. We`re running a server with Brianza and the Corvette (Project-Race.De rF2). The server was on the list before, but there is an anomaly in the immediate sorting, where the lower case alphabet goes after the upper case alphabet. So it would have been way near the bottom. I assume the first time it sorts servers by name, it sorts them by Unicode character, because Unicode's ordered like that. 65 - A, 66 - B, 67 - C... 97 - a, 98 - b, etc.
If leagues would restart servers every other 12 hours its working - im just kinda tired of restarting the server all the time. Looking forward for a fix - sooner than later i hope. 494 was release way too soon, and now 57x is taking way too long.
i have had a read through here, and it was mentioned that local connection is automatic now. so how do i stop it saying server connex failed to my local dedi server? i have opened all the relevant ports and it has worked before. is this the 494 MP problem just affecting me or is there something else i have to do?

Still no word on a fix, online gameplay for me has gone can't even get in server's that were working yeah not a happy camper here, we shouldn't have to use workaround this should have been fixed by now or some kind of mini patch or hotfix released by developer's to fix this issue and yet still no word on a fix or the next patch.I don't really care if I step on a few toes by speaking my mind someone needs to let the rf2 team we ain't happy, sorry if I spoke about your baby rf2 badly and I can already feel the rage filled replies coming back at me so fire away fire away I love this game but not to an extent that I am so blind to its problems and won't stick up for a game like a fan bhoy.
Well... what you could do in the meantime is help with the unstable build? The issues are getting worked on... and the more people that help test, the quicker a release candidate will be released.
