That one requires a new build, I assume. They were planning to have a new build out within a relatively short amount of time anyway, but obviously I would have preferred 3dv not be having issues in the meantime.

Tim, We reinstalled on the dedi and everything was fine, everyone rejoining on 5 or 6 occasions, now we are all greyed out from joining again. Some really angry members, League race tomorrow, I admit I haven't read through all this thread but any news on the multi player bug/glitch ?

Yes 2104 will be a leap year unless they change the system of leap years again*. However, the guy missed in the week day since it will be Friday and not Saturday. Gosh!

*Before 1582 all years ending in 00 where leap years. This was causing that the solstices and equinoxes were arriving earlier and earlier from the fixed days we typically all know. Therefore, pope Gregory (I guess he was assessed :)) decided to move the calendar 10 days ahead to catch up with the accumulated error during almost 16 centuries since Pope Julio established the calendar that took his name. So the the day after Thursday October 4th 1582 was Friday October 15th. From then on, only years ending in 00 which were an exact number of times 400, would be leap years.

Sorry for the offtopic. Hopefully someone enjoyed it.

New AC update is out tonight and I don't give a flying fudge. I'll just wait in trembling anticipation for this new ISI content! Awesome...
2014 will be, and has been so far, a very very good year for rF2.

Nah man, the gooood kind of "soon" I'm sure. :)

Guys, what happened to servers now? I can only get on the server ISI and only after clicking on the refresh button. With the rest did not work. We reconfigure the entire server, not having found the reason, why we can't log in...

Just did an interesting test on our SimHQ SCES server - I deliberately uploaded a video as I did some laps on the server. My ping was around 1140ms (!!) and while there was inevitably a little bit of warping of the other cars in MP, and their collision stuff was a bit off, it was totally stable. No other issues.

I found an interim fix for 3DVision tyre issue that worked for me and at least one other person. See post #86 or the quoted version #444 a few posts above. Involves replacing cached 494 deformable tyre pixel shader with 382 cached shader.

Maybe we share an interest in things like this. ;) Love reading about the historical development of modern day limitations.

I think, like with karts, to do those, they'd have to do them right. rF2 should support everything rF1 did. I actually thought there were some off road tires included in the examples we released, or did that not happen?

There's definately some other issue with that. Jeremy is working on that as well.
