[rF2 Asia Series] Saturday Night Fever is back!

It was the first WTF race after 1.5 year with this server. All happened after we mentioned Fany LOL

It was captured by Gornes....reallly strange. Im gonna share this in the video thread and see wut. Were u sent back to the grid during the formation lap?

The second race was fine though- and after that back to grid- i was smashed from behind and end up on the fence on the right. All this because we mentioned Fani

Yeah, it was during formation lap, and that jump to the grid with spotters YOLO YOLO YOLO can reallt scare the crap out of you.
I think that sudden jump to grid happened once before, but then everything went to hell as well.
I was so confused lol, what to do, wait or go, the timer said as if other were still on the grid.
When cars disappeared I thought probably DC.
And then this car jumping from parallel universe eh
When minfcuk like this happens I just say to myself hopefully those new to the sim coming from other titles won't give up then hehe

 

But now when I think of it, it's possible that the grid would be fine finally and lights go out if I waited long enough.
I am guessing while others were waiting and cars went invisible, me and the other car from a farther place not visible on my LCD current standing both started and when I stopped things went OK and visible again but he happened to drive just behind me

 

Now things are better, I am hoping Macau will feature on this series calendar....

Would be cool, actually never raced on that track.

And Marcus, between walls, this Honda still safer than NSX

Wuts for Mid week?

A suggestion : Looking at the crowd on Friday nite, Maybe we can do one race on Friday, and a reverse grid on Sat. Same time for everyone so no one would have to stay late for 2 races. What say u guys?

 

Alright, my Ferrari setup for Bath was completely wrong, it didn't work well with rf2 Asia Bath server, I think my practice conditions were different. Had to redo setup. Key for Ferrari is brake really early. Managed 2.07

Someone mentioned trying the Formula 2. They are fun on Palm Beach or Portugal

That would suit me, and allows a chance to try a different setup for the second race (and you time to get the grid organised)

I looked again in steam. I have the version by Team SMRC not "yoss". Yoss put in a trouble ticket because Steam still downloading Team SMRC 0.928 instead of Yoss 0.930 version

I was going to put a comment in Steam, but I am not sure if it's my inability to drive or is it the setup, so I digress, it is very very loose, every time I lift the throttle, the ccar wants twisted and turn. It felt very fast nonetheless.

Anyway I think u should subscribe to the version 0.930 and it should auto download and install once u tried to run rf2.
