We have 3 drivers for each car registered.
If we stick to this, we are looking at 2 hours stint per driver with 5 driver changes.

Practice Server restarted with Traction Ctrl and ABS allowed, as per rules.

Thanks, and yeah, I think we definitely need some swap practice. Damn, I thought this process would be a bit simpler lol. I think during that testing TS should be a must.

The swaps are easier than they appear on first reading of that guide.

-Enter server in spectate
-Click on your current driver
-Press the button (you allocated b4) for passenger select. You will see "you are now riding with driver name" He will see "driver name is now riding with you"
-Press RACE
-Current driver orders pit stop and in pit menu he selects you as driver.
-Once he stops it will say to him "you lose control in X seconds" to you "you gain control in X seconds"

Drive away. Previous driver exits the server.

Traps for young players:
Only the starting driver enters the server other than in spectate. Everyone else in your team uses spectate. (bottom of lobby screen under settings).
You will in herit the previous set up, so make sure you can all drive it. Steering lock you can adjust by using your controller settings instead of the garage menu. You can also adjust stuff in the pit menu B4 pitting (wing, tyre pressures, brake balance).
In older builds you got new tyres automatically, in the latest builds you will get the worn out tyres.
Remember to press RACE

Guys I cant see anywhere to post questions on the Neo BR site so I might do it here.

Team: 2 of my drivers have gone AWOL. I dont know if I will have a team. One more driver is testing but not at adequate pace or reliability yet.
Skins: I cant see a car number allocated? I would need this to complete the skin. (prefer #12).
Car: If we race I want to change from the Z4 to the 911 or Maclaren.
Server settings: Damage % please?.

Hi David,
I assumed I could pick the numbers, and picked ones no-one else would (ie higher numbers) I added 1 to each class so got 116 and 1116 assuming 16 for the GT3 car. 12 has been used in the template so I assuming one of the organisers is using that

We haven't registered a GT3 car yet, so we can pick any of them. Jän Hahn Liang may now be available to drive, could be worth shooting him a PM as he is a good driver, but so far we would be at least one other driver short (too big a committment for some guys I suppose)

No idea of damage but I sure hope not 100%!

If you join us, I was planning on a GT3 skins like those I did for the Megane and 370z

One of some other things that is not highlighted in the rules.

Next week is quali. Does each team choose one driver to do the quali run? Or all members willbe able to join and the fastest will be chosen to start?

I think at this stage I will plan on attending qualifying and see from there.
I have a skin I can use, done with the supplied templates and car number 12. For quali I will just use skin skinshare.

 

Likewise...i think the quali will also be an unplanned QnA session.

 

ya currently updating myself with the latest rules and format. Half way through the rules at the moment so sorry if I miss out anything.

Driver change seems simple enough, but we'll still need to schedule ourselves for rehearsal driver change.

Then its the setups, not sure where we are at this but so far who's setup are we testing at the moment? May I know where can I try it? I say we experiment on a setup then if no objection we'll stick to it.

As for driver stint, I agree with follow the sun plan, sounds good to me.

Oh ya, another thing, I've not ported onto steam version yet, not planning to port anytime soon, does this affect anything?

Lets do test run late Sunday (1800 UTC+8) - the usual sunday race time.

Lets start this way.
- I'll proceed to race and run laps with TS on. (Using one of the setup)
- Lets say Liang came in TS and say hes ready to swap.
- Liang gets in as spectator and I'll see it.
- I'll pit and swap.

Repeat when Brack comes in.
Repeat when others comes in.
I (the first runner) can also practice swap (bcoz i was driving)

What do u guys say?
