@steven- finally understood your megane set- the car was super loose when tyres are cold , But once the tires warmed up (after 2 laps) , the car really comes alive

Yeah its hard lol.. It will mean this thread, steam setup garage, teamspeak and fb will be silenced and dead coz everyone will be talking there, coz its convenient lel
and ive seen ALOT of gem of a discussion lost in the intehnuts space, somewhere.....unreadable and not visible to the rest of the population lol

Post in threads and fb and it will be visible to others on wuts going on with the league and it will look and feel more active. Aandd its open to google results.

But hey, thats just my take.
If u guys want it, I have no objection. Gornes can be incharge of it.

Thanks Steven- still off by so much comparing to yours. But your set up I can finally understand is the most important factor for me- so wont push so hard first 2 laps .
On another note back to iR to test the nurb made me realise how much i miss the flat spot and tyre feel we got here. So weird locking up and driving away with no penalty there as if tyres are brand new.

Im trying to fix the previous vmod to contain the previous run. Its lost with the new vmod.

 

Nope...cant do that. Theoratically possible, but its bug stopping it to be done with the MAStool.

 

Still no update abt the race format and detail from OnWheelsTV. Fingers crossed.

 

There is some info on their site

Qualifying is on 16 Jan. If there are too many entries in a class there will be knockout qualifying. The race is on 23 Jan and starts at 6:00am Brazlian time and end 6pm Brazilian time (looks like UTC-2)

We need to have our cars submitted by January 7, so we need to know our teams by then. Looks like we have the Megane team, but need other people for other cars. We don't have to run the 854. Just let me know which car and I will do the skin.

We may be oversubscribed for the Megane, so I will drop back to the 370Z (but need more partners for that car too!)

 

Ahhh...how did i missed that...thanks. Now just waiting for race format details.

In the liveracers we have 3 registered. I think we can focus on megane? Max is 5 drivers so we can have

- Brack
- Gornes
- nazirulll
- marcus?
- Steven?

Each arnd 2.5 hour before swap. ( if we do only 1 slot each in the whole race)

 

But where is everyone else? Surely we have enough guys racing to get the other cars filled up too. At least a GT3 car.

Also I was thinking about a "follow the sun" approach. Someone from NZ starts off - then Australia, then Japan, then Singapore/Indonesia, the Malyasia, then India. This way each of us could race early evening. I'm on holidays at that time, so I can do any stint. I was also thinking (depending on pitstops) you could do 1 or 1.5 hours, get some rest then another stint.

I suggest a good idea is to have a team leader for each car, who can organise the other guys

 

I havent got anyone else contacting me abt our this eventho ive posted this on our fb since last month. I will give the event a bump and see.

Yes I agree abt the follow the sun approach. I think thats the only way.

Abt the stint length, we need to know wuts the minimum/maximum stint per team. The detail that is still yet to be provided.

Myself I can run any stint anytime. No problem.
