Hi everyone, A couple of friends and myself (6 in total) drive a championship among each other. Every Tuesday evening we drive 1 track for points. - 20 Mins practice - 7 laps qualify - And then 2 times Race. The second race we would like to start with a reversed grid of the first race, to make things more interesting. Is there anyone who knows how to do this? Thanks!!
Try r2la it has a batch file editor in there and you van also use it for championship points?....... Best app going....
Sound good! Could you tell me where to find it, and how to install and use it? Thanks for the quick reply!
There is also this https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/mygrid-gpvwc-com-race-start-grid-editor.52297/ a simple exe to put in your rf2 dedicated server root. Just open it, select "load latest logs", select a log and click "create a batch with selected log", edit your grid, create the grid and create a batch file. Once you are in warm-up, in your dedicated server UI type /batch newbatch, press Enter and the job is done. You can try with some AIs in your server.
We have also a free tool for this. http://racerfactor.com/descargas/DESCARGAS_Lagg/RR_EditGrid_2_1.zip
Hi lagg, I don't really get how it works. I've loaded some AI to test it with. I also opened RR_EditGrid. Now what? What's the next step? thanks
Hi Krusti, My userdata is located at D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Log\Results So I get this error How can I change this? Thanks
The first thing is to open a log file with the button "importar datos desde archivo". Select a file from rFactor 2\Userdata\Log\Result (this will load the drivers of that session in the final order). You write the amount of positions, that you want to invert and click on the button of the two arrows (this will invert the grid) Click in the numbers button to renumber the pilots Click on Generar Script y copiar comando de nueva parrilla al portapapeles Paste the clipboard content in the Chat Textbox of your server and click the Send Chat button (this only works in warmup session) Notes: In the step 2 you can add drivers (writing them in the grid), and select any pilot and move up or down (with the arrow buttons).
