I am not sure i can not find any information on it could be scare tactics could just be people getting back handers from the game maker to harass mod makers i mean i have not seen anyone get an official letter in the post from any lawyers through there door rather just on line contact the game maker says any use of official logos trademarks ect ect is completely unauthorised to use in any video game for resale.

so "i" better some modders can make" the formula mod of 1976 without real name of the teams .. and without official logo of formula 1 ... and for free. this reasoning is right?
 
My statement about year is going from the implementation of FOM as we now know it and their rights to control mass usage of the F1 license. 1976 didn't have FOM controlling the distribution. That was the genius move by Bernie. He obtained the broadcasting rights for the teams and offered to sell each team their correct share but they wanted to keep the money in their shortsightedness for testing and car work, so all of a sudden this one guy was able to deal in the name of all the teams and the rest is history, for the good (earlier on) and worse (past 19 years).
 
Call it Virtual Classics after the orignal website/forum or name it after the orginal developer and we won't care. Give us fake team names and a script that changes them and we won't care. Seriously, there are ways.... If only I had the skill, or the time to acquire the skill. I barely have time to race the excellent core cars or mods as it is, but I still want this

As long as you don't expect it to act like those cars or to drive like the person in the video...! If so, get an arcade racer.

ok
I have posted the video to remind us what cars were present in the mod. I think to those cars with RF2, with new graphic, with the new model of tires, with the flexible frame. etc etc. watch this video. This mod is an important part of the history of Formula.
 
all these. the history of F1 before electronics. When the driver was driver :)
