Did you read the first post? That tends to mean that you're pushing the front tyres too hard by trying to turn and accelerate too hard at the same time, and have induced power understeer, meaning the tyres have lost grip, and hence the FFB goes away too.
That's because its front wheel drive and when you boot it, the front wheels start spinning and loosing traction giving you understeer. When ever you get understeer in any type of car, the ffb drops off (which is one way of telling you you are understeering). The old version is not relative and should not compare to the current released version, because that was the first test release and was not finished.
Guys, I'm having trouble with the sound for this Clio mod. Driving alone on track or having just one or two cars close by there is no problem, but when starting the race, with all the other cars around, the sound gets distorted and stuttered, getting cut sometimes. I'm using a Tritton AX Pro 5.1 headphones, the settings of the audio in the game are set for 5.1 speakers, and also on the Creative Launch Control window. This only happens with the new Clio mod. It doesn't happen with any of the other mods. I'm using only the original mod. Cheers. /Arturo
Yes, i guess it one of the - Possibly other stuff. in the known issues log. BTW, ISI tracked the bug with an high chance to understand what triggers it, and they will fix it when possible.
Very happy with this car. Thank you. This car has the best sounds in rF2 so far I think. I hope Nissans could be updated with better sounds and physics.
The best FWD car i driven in sims. FFb is very live and strong. Tire heating also is very "real", every slide increases tire temp very quickly and when you dont slide you have your actual tire temp. Now we wait for next rF2 update
Is there going to be any "gear shift animation" in the future? Judging from the clip earlier in this thread there where none.
Best car so far IMO. I can really have my way with this car. Thaks ISI. I think its the perfect car to introduce people who havn't yet discovered the wonderful world of Sim racing. A dirt version would be nice, & some dirt to drive it on too. Lienz perhaps, hint hint.
I saw the Clios being tested on v1.080 (B90), but initially I saw them being tested on a v1.086 update at Malaysia South Loop.
Uninstalling the earlier mod *should* suffice. That's what I would try. But yeah, always be prepared to do a full re-install .
