Is this right to copy in Package Folder ? I do it so , see the Icon by Single Player , but dont work . By " Manage Mods " came the Massage : unable to install the following Mods....
have you tried to install the Vmod,from the server with the GET MOD? edit:you speak of Vmod, or complete ISI clio mod? Babs
I think your game has lost this folder. if you have the possibility to install a second game, take the folder and insert it where missing in your game. Edit: I sent you private message with links to download my folder. Babs

You could look at what is lacking in the mod. Just go to properties on Mod and go advanced option. We will see a list of things that are installed in the mod. From here you can understand what you are missing, and you provide a in the right way to complete the list of components Babs
Tryied offline yesterday a little this new mod and find it really fun to drive. Maybe the ffb is a little bit strange, but worth the download.
I am having the same problem. No matter what is changed or tried they don't work. This is what you get:
For those having issues with adding a skin ... I tried adding my own skin today, and it worked flawlessly (well, after I had taken care of a silly typo in one of the textures I exported ) . Here's a quick rundown of what I've done: Create a new subfolder called "Renault_Clio" in your "player\Settings\" folder; Save the main skin texture as "<CarID>ALT.DDS", with <CarID> being the vehicle name you're creating a skin for (e.g. clio_12); Save the optional window texture as "<Car_ID>ALTWINDOW.DDS"; Save the optional wheel rim texture as "<Car_ID>ALTEXTRA0.DDS" -- that's a zero; Select the car skin in the car's Tuning page. The game will automatically load the WINDOW and EXTRA0 textures with it. So, in this example I ended up with clio_12ALT.DDS, clio_12ALTWINDOW.DDS and clio_12ALTEXTRA0.DDS. That should work .
The FBMWEngine is a component from the ISI Formula Renault 3.5, not quite sure why the VMOD maker specified it for an 'All Tracks' Clio VMOD though. But of course as it's been specified you *have* to have it to install the (V)MOD.
Luc, I can see some inconsistency (ALT missing in the last sentence) Just curious, what does it "alt" mean in that case? Is it 'alternative' as alternative skin? I'm not familiar with skinning in rF2 yet, but it looks something new to me.
perfect example of how messy the vmod system can get, means people have to download & install mods they dont want just to race something that want. There needs to be some sort of "Check File" in place where the vmod creation alerts you to including something you dont really need.
Thanks for spotting the obvious mistake. I fixed my post. ALT stands for Alternative Skin, yes. I think it *should* be possible to use another ID, but ALT worked for me .
I know what you mean, nobody ever said bringing order to chaos would be easy. Also how far do you go in trying to make something foolproof, there's always a better fool out there somewhere lol.
Regarding skinning, is there a decent guide around with how to skin in rF2? It's something i have wanted to try for ages but always put it off. But i want some nicer real racing liverys for rF2 so wouldn't mind having a go
Tried that Luc, done it exactly as you've put it there, but I get the 3 files going in as 3 different skins, all three show up on car body, windows and wheels.
