Just purchased it along with Monza & Spa Downloading now A modern f1 based car , good move bargain ! , massive thanks to studio 397
Am I the only one that thinks that the "future plans for this car" mean that this will be the test bed for the development of hybrid systems within rfactor 2?
I cant stop driving this thing. Great work, looking forward to more Goodyears they feel amazing. But maybe they get a flatspot too easy
And that's the problem! Apart from Reiza and kart, the packs are great for people that has no paid content. While we, the early supporters that bought content long ago, have no option but pay full price for every item released after.
Nice Job on the car. I would love to see two things changed. 1. Remove the 2nd display behind the wheel, Just looks wrong to see two displays showing the same thing. I would make this a garage upgrade option instead. 2. Halo - This should be either full on or full off. For VR users having it full on is a non issue as one can hardly notice it. Single screen is a very different story... the Halo is extremely distracting and unrealistic. The way the F1 games do is the best solution... transparency just shouts fake all over the screen. Best solution is On or Off (Vertical support only).
Tried it , nice but takes a while to get into a sim car Look forward to getting use to it can’t for the life of me get the mirrors set —————— Edit correction -it’s the new f1 car killing my fps not the tracks -I’ve tested with other cars OLD (I also bought monza, spa & setting to track details to low/med/high doesn't seem to make much difference fps chop city ( I can run other tracks just fine ) I’ll try Monaco later but fearing same problem
The purchase has now worked, was probably actually a Steam problem. Drove a few laps in Monza. Very nice, nice sound, nice to look at and really toxic, fun. To say more especially about the tires I have to drive more
Does the FP use fairly standard S397 tires? Or does it have a version of the new tire developed for the BMW Cl 1?
I actually like this as it demands careful driving unless you want a violent wheel. Back when I sarted with rF2, it was one of the features of the tyre model/physics/FFB that blew me away in the sim and I felt after S397 took the project on the feature got diluted somewhat and was no longer so prevalent with the consequences on FFB being mild. Just tried it and glad to say it is on par with the FISI, so a thumbs up from me.
Top shelf work, fabulous Car Set, thank you indeed! I'm probably among the minority on this, but it sure would be nice to have onboard adjustable ARB's. Helps balance out the chassis as the tires wear.
I think someone said that this car and the BMW use the data and info they got from working with Goodyear.
