Yes. There are quite alot of historic tracks in AMS if you combine stock content with the Legendary tracks DLCs. When it comes to official tracks, diversity and quality AMS ir pretty much the best sim on the market. There is something for everyone basicly. Here you have the tracklist, wich isn't even complete. https://forum.reizastudios.com/thre...up-in-august-24th-important-info-inside.1335/ With the DLCs they added various tracks with different layouts for different time periods. Hockenheim has eight different layouts iirc. I don't think that they will add all of them, but something like the Brit pack tracks as a bundle would sell easily for rF2. You don't get 3 laserscanned tracks for that small amount of money anywhere else. If you want to know more about the sim it might be best to check out Steam. It is a great package and worth the money.
well most of us said it should happen … it has.. so that leads to the fact that AMS 2 ISNT rf2 based maybe. anyway good news. be nice if the AMS beta guys get half price or something lol aslo how about the main british tracks we need them badly in rf2!!!
I think when they make more tracks of historic area..... more people go to rfactor 2 ..or rfactor reiza because... there is not much on the market today. Every simracing game make they same blue shoe... a lot of gt3’s a lot of modern spa... modern... monza.... a lot of the same tracks... cars... year after year. Do not misunderstand me.. i like it. But If you want a succes. Make another shoe. After grandprix legends papyrus 20 years a go there is no racing sim they have this. And gpl is today with srmz forum populair Motor sport... on this area (like my old days of gpl) the feel from racing in this days from the golden area of motor sport.... bumpy tracks....fast dangerous corners.... handle the car carfully...because the engine blow. A nordschleife old nurburgring... the real green hell how it was. For me a dream.
Cheers for the info They have quite a collection, The historic tracks are of interest to me , they perhaps should offer a few separate packs Historic track pack Historic car pack Modern Euro track pack ....Etc Their version of interlargos that came to rfactor2 is way off (I’m use to the laser version Iracing) so I don’t use it ,but historic tracks would for me & people like me be a big hit which I’d gladly pay for I do have what is now AMS but never used due to no VR, very happy about this partnership & makes perfect sense Iracing partnership next ? (long shot I know ) I’d pay again for those tracks just for them to work in rf2
ISI’s recreation of historic spa is a high quality , monza & monaco too Superb track surfaces & character Not tried AMS historic tracks but looking forward to trying them out if they are available : -it’s a firm buy from me
I hope they come with more.. historic tracks not only the AMS tracks... Old Nurburgring will be fine. Can we growfunding this.. everybody pay.. donate a 20 euro??
It was just a dream at first. Now it seems the day of being able to drive any track from any sim as an official release in rF2 is coming. Sure, Ill pay but more importantly you have my patience as well. Hopefully instead of competing, all makers of every sim will see the value in this. For example, those that wish rF2 had every road, trail, track, long driveway, wide hallway, etc on this planet and other planets, can eventually have that as well. Imagine every fantasy track from AC in rF2, the real tracks need no mention. The Dirt series in rF2, that is probably the type of thing that is going to make me stop going outside all together. American and Euro Truck simulator is another example as those maps, although truncated, can make for good racing. I'd go so far as to say modern versions of the TDU2 maps would be awesome. Looking forward to seeing what Reiza offers in the mean time.
Reiza said that this is a parallel project and AMS 2 will still be a thing . When someone asked if the the new title was still happening . https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/reiza-studio397-rfactor2.3962/ Renato Simioni said: ↑ "It´s most certainly still a thing, the rF2 Bundle is a completely parallel project. Obviously there are more details still to come regarding the bundle, and we alsoplan to clarify some other topics people are wondering about soon, so youshouldn´t be in the dark much longer "
Reiza maybe should consider producing chargeable DLC high quality packs for Rfactor2 I’d forgotten the fact they’d mentioned they’d be working a whole new title
AMS has a great selection of tracks with Patrick Garrahans add one in Race Department. Honestly if it weren’t for VR and the Endurance pack is be playing AMS almost exclusively. Not sure this partnership has much appeal for me
