From post #651:
we have now updated all the content (cars & tracks) to the latest PBR shaders, audio has been updated to better suit the new audio engine and physics revisions are ongoing. To make up for the delays we´ve elected to to replace the older AMS1 F-Vee & Metalmoro AJR models with the latest higher quality ones from AMS2, with liveries likewise updated - previews below.

PHYSICS REVISIONS. From post #651 in this thread. Page 33

I am willing to bet the cars (AMS2 Versions) drive, feel better in rF2 than they do in AMS2. And it's too late now. Reiza made their choice and now they have to live with it.

Those physics revisions won't be anything major for those models. Again. It's not like they have to update anything for those cars to drive better than in AMS2. So this reason for the delay doesn't convince me in the slightest.
Well, thats the only thing I could think of that makes any sense. It sounds good to me and therefore It must be true! lol:p

For people that bagged me for just saying they would never release Imola for rF2 before LMU.

Common logic dictated that.

:p
To be fair, we already have Imola, and even if fully updated, it was not Laser Scanned(that I'm aware of) But yeah...there is more to the survival of rF2 than getting previously released content spit-shined. Remember, we already paid for the Reiza bundle, Neither S397 nor Reiza will generate much if any income from this update. The only new Income for both companies will be rather small and encompass just those users who passed on the first release and have been waiting for the update to acquire the Reiza content.

It would be a much more attractive purchase for new users and those indecisive.

This Imola version is no rival to the laser-scanned version I guess. No need to hold it back.

I know a lot of people who don't buy many of the DLCs precisely because they are out of date, that's why they don't sell content.

Reizas DLC, paid content MCR 2000 has no sound in cockpit view. Now, a new person to rF2, would and should be put off by that. PAID DLC THAT IS BROKEN? THIS GAME SUCKS. I can understand that kind of thinking. Especially for someone new to rFACTOR 2. @RSimioni when you going to fix that?

Same thing when you buy a Ferrari GT3 and a Porsche GT3, same package, immensely worse car quality in graphics, then you don't understand why it doesn't sell.

If they had sold a million copies we would have Imola in both already.

Simple Logistics LLC :p

P.S.
What I want to know, when are other studios going to do full refreshes of some DLC :p
rF2 you even get free content redone, like Zandvoort.

To be fair, Reiza has nothing to do with the Ferrari or Porsche. But they do have the broken DLC with their name on it. Seeing as this is a Reiza DLC thread. I figured that @RSimioni should be aware.
I didn't mean to say that they have anything to do with Porsches and Ferraris, but rather that Rfactor 2 has a lot of paid content, some updated to standard and some not, a lot of people don't buy it for that reason.

I wouldnt buy this DLC if i had read this thread before, but i bought it back then and frankly i raced and enjoy it many hours mostly online!
