Released Reiza Pack Out Now!

While i agree that there should be a update to meet latest standards, but i don't think anything scamy about the content available as it is.
reiza got their hands full of AMS 2, which unfortunately needs tweaks to its content physics nearly monthly basis.....meaning they are struggling.
(tbh the latest i tried that sim, it was way off driving wise IMO).
I wish them best though, we need more hardcore sims alive.

P.S : maybe a slight price drop would justify keeping it as is ? idk tbh.

 

I AM in total agreement with your statement. Just not expecting anything from Reiza.

 

Pena que o Reiza não atualiza. Vou mais longe, parece que o Studio do Reiza na época funciona melhor que o S397 com o motor RF2.

 

No sorry s397 are the masters. Reiza has failed twice. They have shakes on camera, even with no head physics...You overrate Reiza.

 

Imho as a user, the best outcome, and one I'd love to happen, would be for S397 to buy the content or rights to at least part of the Reiza content. It would be great Tracks such as VIR and Imola to have S397's stewardship and maintenance efforts.

 

i think the guy,Alex,who made Imola and VIR for Reiza,now works for S397.

 

The Reiza content really deserves an update.
But I doubt we will see any in the near future.
S397 says it's Reiza's part and Reiza just doesn't care, because they have ASM2 now and I don't think they made big money with the rf2 content so it would be just "wasted" resources

 

I don't see controversy here. The diversity is reflected in the quality of content too.

 

maybe read well Dynamic, Reiza rF2 bundle is like a dead horse.

 

It's a shame because the content of the reiza pack is excellent.
I hope S397 can update it if Reiza doesn't.

 

I add the Reiza pack in rF2 is excellent when you see how it's arcade in AMS2.

 

Is it really still that bad?
I uninstalled it ages ago.
I hear good things about the new F1 from various YT.

 

when you try the same car in rF2 Reiza bundle and AMS2, with the last one it's on rail, particulary the MCR 2000, impossible to spin or oversteer, in rF2 you will crash in the first turn if you push the throttle with the same way.
And the last AMS2 car the F1 2022 is a joke, even F1 2021 from Codemasters is better, arcade ,f1 2022 from AMS2 is on rail, a big april fool.
No hope for Reiza, they've failed with AMS2.
They are probably so sad to see the rF2 success they've missed with the Madness Engine.

 

AMS2 is sadly very bad... but those responsible for the content of rfactor 2 is studio 397, whether Reiza did it or not. He sold me the Studio 397 package, the agreements you have with them are the responsibility of studio 397, who are the users to claim Reiza, who is not the owner of rfactor

 

Then if I bought a bad can of Del Monte vegetables, it would be the local store responsible NOT Del Monte? S397 provided a store with which Reiza could market some of it's content. S397 did not design the Reiza products. S397 cannot alter Reiza products unless some agreement is concluded between them. Since there is very little likelihood of increased sales of the Reiza content, neither side has the financial inducement to spend money to update the tracks & cars. I wish this wasn't so, Imola & VIR are two of my favorite tracks.

 

It´s much better than before, don´t know what the "it´s on rails" guy was drinking.
To be fair though, the quality of cars in ams2 is as "diverse" as the content in rf2. Slower/older cars are generally the better ones; faster modern open wheelers are a bit meh.

 

What I don't understand, why is AMS2 so popular?
What if it's so much worse?
Is it because rF2 is too demanding for the mainstream?
I mean, everyone is looking for realism, but when it comes down to it, the mainstream steers well clear of actual sims like rF2 or even RRRE.

 

Is it though? Last I checked rf2 had more players still
Seriously though, ams2 is the most complete modern sim, in terms of looks, performance, variety and ease of use. And if you´re a youtuber, rf2 is impossible to record with the free cam (there´s a drone cam plugin i think, never tried it myself), I imagine streaming is trickier than usual as well due to cpu usage.

Still if Reiza doesnt get more daily players I doubt that they will ever be able to justify spending resources to update their rf2 pack, which is a real shame. Hopefully they can let s397 maintain it instead.

 

ams2 is a success.....flop.
