This is a joke. The free SR3 offers both the left- and right-drive models, but the paid one only features the right-drive variant. When I decided to purchase the paid car, I reasonably expected both versions, especially because not a word was said in the store that only the right-drive would be included. I bought it, and to my big surprise, no left-drive car... No thanks!
Then maybe you should have read the official thread first https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/new-radical-sr3-xx-2020.66225/ Pretty clear in that there is no left hand drive. More so the discussion about right / left weight distribution is interesting.
Lets be honest, the paid version is nothing more special than the free version. I bought it but drove it only one time I think. I never bothered to find out how to get my money back, considering the small amount I had paid, it wasn’t worth it for me to figure out how to get a refund.
Utter rubbish. Why should I read a forum before buying something? I should read the product description, rather. Which I did. And it said not a single word on this plain idiocy.
Well if you had read the official S397 news and notifications you would have known. That would have saved you posting at another and spitting the dummy. Besides you posted in the wrong forum anyway, you did not want technical help. You just wanted to have a whinge about insignificant event.
Why should you write to a forum after refunding something for exotic reasons? You were buying a simulation of a real car. You could have learnt about it before buying it.
For whatever reason, RADICAL did not make the updated car ambidextrous. Therefore, neither did S397. I was surprised, when using the old free version, that even with left hand drive, it was not balanced the same. Left hand drive did not have as much lateral weight to the left as the Right Hand Drive had lateral weight to the right. Was this an oversight? Was this sloppiness? No, it is how the cars actually are. There will always be more weight bias to the right. So when S397 released the UPDATED MODERNIZED car, they again produced it just as Radical built it. Right hand drive only. Since this car was released several years ago, do you think you just discovered this fact of life? That we somehow missed out on the fact? You found it did not meet your personal requirements and refunded it. Why bother shouting to the heavens about such a matter? If it had 3 wheels...THEN ....we would be shocked. But realistic driver location is a problem? If you really want to complain, go drive the car in the rain & listen for the non-existent wet weather tire sounds.
in windows you can mirror your monitor, and then reverse force feedback on your wheel.. waaaaait a minute.. i started that as a pisstake at this silly post.. but now im going to go try it!
k so that sucked, you cannot configure your wheel to run in reverse even though you can reverse the force feedback, but it was a good excuse to load up the Eve '68 and Bridgehampton Autumn and remember why RF2 really shines with some combos!
