@Marcel Offermans @Alex Sawczuk and @ every S397 Member, that can answer this. Is there any Recommendation about the best Texture Size to use? I remember a Statement of an ISI Member, from a long Time ago, where was said, that it is better to use 1 4096 x 4096 Texture, than 16 1024 x 1024 Textures, for Example. I would like to know, if that Statement is still valid or if there is another Recommendation now, with all the Changes that have been made by S397. And i also would like to know, if there is a Difference for Tracks and Cars.
A single texture is definitely still better, I've seen that mentioned very recently. I think that's common across basically all game engines anyway. I don't know what the maximum recommended is; I suspect all current GPUs can do at least 8k.
