SOLVED RCD File for online server

Hello everyone! I was trying to mess around with customizing the AI to get more consistent difference between AI at my grid.
I didn't found any info if it possible to run the dedi server with AI Talent file in use. Is it even possible?

I have tried:
- Put rcd file in server settings folder to exact track;
- Pack rcd file to upgrades for DLC Oreca car;
I have tried few variants:
Oreca_07.rcd
Oreca_07_LMP2_2017.rcd
And few different class names inside the rcd file:
LMP2
LMP2_Oreca_07
- Pack rcd file inside main mas of Mod car;

None of them give me any result.
- AI Limiter at 0%
- Difference in rcd file set to get obvious result. 1 AI set to all values 1.0 and another AI set to 100.0

As the last thing I want to do is a workaround of creating 20+ upgrades.ini and manually assign them to each veh file.

If you want to minimise the differences between AI drivers, don't put AI LIMITER on 0/Zero!
It should be set to the maximum.

Your methodology is like saying, I wanted to turn a light on, so I smashed down some walls, messed with the wiring and dug up the floor, and it still didn't work. when all you had to do was turn it on at the switch.

The goal I want to achieve is to get some AI perform on one skill level, other bots on other level. And I want to keep it consistent. Like AI A always good, AI B always bad.

@Alexey Zagorodnev To be honest, i've never been interested in the AI, because i never raced against them.
So i'm not the one who can help you. :)

But if i remember it right, to get it working, you must follow some Naming Rules.
E.g. did you also use LMP2_Oreca_07 as the rcd File Name?

And check/search the whole Forum.
I remember a few Threads and Posts about rcd Files, that contained a lot of Info about their Structure and how to use them.

Or try it out with a Mod that uses an accessible rcd Talent File, modify it and make an Update rfcmp with the modified rcd File.
That should work.
And if it works, you have a Pattern that you can use for other Vehicle Content.

Ok so it seems to work on the server. Key thing is namings.

xxx.rcd file should be included into main mas file of the car
xxx.rcd must be named as first class from Classes = "x1, x2" in veh files

Inside rcd first string also must be named as the first class.

Only in this combo it will work properly.

could you post a functioning rcd file that has the above changes?

:rolleyes:
Do you think it would be possible to create an .aiw file for Pit Logic (fuel, pit stop strategy) or a .tdf file for tyre wear/degradation settings?

@Corti You can't set such Things in an AIW File.
Pit-Strategy and such could be set in the gdb File in rF1, but it doesn't work in rF2 anymore.
And Tire-Wear/-Degradation can only be set in the tgm/tbc Files.
