It's silly but when I used to race GPL I used to raise my arm to thank the marshalls and wave to the crowd on the slow down lap. Also useful to gesticulate when other drivers cut you up It would be so cool to do it in VR and if S397 really want to get one up on the other sims they would do it in closed cars as well, animating opening the door and sticking the arm through the crack and... What's the matter??? It adds to the immersion Are you telling me you haven't tried standing outside the car (in VR) and stepping into the cockpit? Just imagine if the door was open and you could close it after getting in. I'll stop now!
Used to be that drivers raised arms to signal "slowing" or "stopped after I spun" or "I'm headed into the pits". NASCAR drivers still wave their arm to alert the drivers behind them.
Some ideas are funny, but for pratical purporses, doesn't the chat does it? I think there are so many things to fix in RF2 before animating open doors and raising hands...
Not my itention, lol! I would support anything for better imertion. But when I see the AI doing very stupid things and when our league server crashes after every RF2 update, I wonder about priorities....
