Radeon 280x or GTX760?
They are at the same price here, so whats better for you? Im a bit confused, nVidia or AMD? ... but please, for me words are words, I need videos/screenshots, something to have credibility.

If you're tight on money and can't get an R9 290X, I would get an R9 290 (non-X). If you want Nvidia then I would go for a 760 ti or 770.

Yes, I deleted nvidia drivers and installed the latest beta catalyst drivers.

Probably not the best method to find baselines, major upgrades deserve a fresh OS imho.

I have GTX670 , run rF2 virtually max with vsync on ie: 60+fps

I would try Fresh OS and fresh rFactor2 Lite build before I write the card off.

Hello all nvidia experts

I use to be an AMD card user and I could only get 2x-3x fps in Silverstone on 3 monitors with multi-view and most settings max. I'm tempted with GTX780 as it was said to give min 40-60fps with all settings at max and its price dropped.

However I got worry after reading "Surround Sound" post in nvidia forum, there are quite many bugs in "surround sound" settings and environment. And it is also painful to switch between 3-single monitor and 3-spanned-over monitor.

Are those issues that serious? Actually I only switch to eyenifity mode when playing racing game as I'm using non-identical monitors (Std HD * 2 + 2560*1081)

I have used both platforms and altho AMD felt more robust when switching modes nVidia worked just aswell.

However I think nVidia Surround requires all matching screen atleast resolution so I dont think you would be able to do it.

nVidia excels when it comes to Surround 3D.

Yes, I missed the point when buying that monitor (2560-1080). And it is lucky the monitor has two modes, 2560-1080 and 1920-1080(with portions of two sizes blackened)

I tend to buy 780 as it is my wish to get a good frame rate with single card. Unless benchmark of 290(X) in rfactor2 shows significant improvement. However the card is quite new and can't find any of that benchmarking info.
