My simracing community was born in 2006 and in 2007 we migrated from NR 2003 Season to rFactor and years later to rFactor 2. We are Spanish-speaking and for many years we have found it curious how the sound of multiplayer "Racestart" has remained throughout time. That said, we would like to dispel a debate that arises from time to time between us and that is, we really do not know what the voice is saying in the entire locution. Can someone give us the transcript of this? Thank you for dispelling over a decade of discussion and debate.
I have nothing official, but my guess (as of last time I was involved in a discussion about it) is: "Attention ??? would all non essential personnel leave the grid now" The ??? I can't help with. Which also means the 'would' could be wrong, as it could be attached to that unknown part.
Thanks Lazza, I'm glad to see that more than a language problem, it's a common discussion among even English-speaking rFactor fans. You have cleared up a good part of the mystery for me, since we only agreed that the last word was: "Now"
I don't understand the sentence, but searching on the Internet i've found this "Attention grid, will all non essential personnel leave the grid now."
Thanks for participating Lagg. I was thinking about whether the expression "Attention World" is valid in reference to attracting the attention of "everyone" as in Spanish we refer to "A todo el mundo" an option could be "Attention world, the all non essential personnel leave the grid now" It's possible?
I don't know if the expression is correct in English, but it sounds so good in my head when I made this montage.
incredible ambient sound, no doubt, but ... the rF original is already mythical and I think it's a nice nod to its origins.
