I converted a track from rFactor 1 to rFactor 2.

All is working great for practice and all the session you start from the pits.

For the race session, the cars enter free fall and get DNF.

The AIW has all the grid positions correct and the track was working before the last update.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Hard to say just from the description, but I would guess that you need to set the teleport spot?

Hi Fernando, also take a look in the GDB file if you have this line:

    RollingStartLoc=1

    if yes just delete it

    Hi again,

I have tested both your advices and still no luck.

In Devmode, when in race session, as soon as I press race the car enter "free fall" and is returned to the garage.
I have the option to press space to skip formation lap. As soon as I do it the car start from the garage location.

I can share the track if anyone is available to take a look.

    Thanks

What happens if you start a race with a simply standing start? So without formation lap, also try with a fast rolling start.

Roling start works great up to a certain number of cars. I guess the right path may be too close to the wall at some point because of the cars in the back start on top of the right wall. Its a city circuit.

Standing start works with no problem at all.

You seem to have less garage spots than drivers selected for the race.

That is not the case :(
It happens with only one driver.

And the circuit was working fine before the last "big" update.

I am confused, you said standing starts work and rolling starts work up to a certain amount of drivers. Then right after you said it happens with one driver. What type of start is causing the problem?

    I may be explaining badly.

This occurs only in the race session.

    Formation/Standing (DevMode)
    - Send the car into free fall and makes the car appear in the garage.
    - If I hit space to skip formation lap, the car will start from the garage.
    Formation/Standing (multiplayer)
    - Send the car into free fall and the drivers get DNF

    Standing Start (DevMode)
    - Works fine (tested with one and 12 cars)

    Rolling Start
    - Works perfectly with one car
    - With 12 cars position 10 and 12 line up over the right side wall. (I believe this happens because the right path is over the wall and not on the track)

Formation/Standing start was working fine before the last update.

    Thanks for your patience.

I understand now. Thanks for the better description. Unfortunately I don't know what would cause that. Seems strange that standing and rolling work, but formation/standing doesn't. Almost like you have a corrupt aiw file or something random like that. If you have any backups of the track/aiw you should check them against the current aiw file size. Have you tried clearing the cbash/shaders after the update? Maybe someone smarter than me knows the answer, but if you want to upload the devmode version somewhere, I or I'm sure someone will take a look at it when we have the time.

If you say that last update broke it. You could double check that by suscribing to an older beta version like 1108.

Sorry for the late reply, I have already someone looking into it.
    Let's hope for the best.

I'll get back here as soon as I have a solution.

After re-extracting the files from the MAS, deleting In both GDB Files the Entry RollingStartLoc=1 and deleting all the AIW backups it worked perfectly.

And the Entry FormationAndStart=2 was 2 times written in both GDB Files.

    Thanks to everyone.
