So, I am running out of room on my HD, I have another and I am curious if there are any issues with using STEAM's "move files" option. I would hate to lose the 10 million gigabyts of downloaded car's, tracks, ect. Has anyone done this and were there any issues? It took MONTHS to get the game running the way I like it...would hate to screw that up as well. Thanks for any insight you may have. EDIT: looking at the "Local Files" thru STEAM, it says they are 3.55 GB? But when I look at the folder with windows, it is well over 100 gig...will moving the install folder to another drive cause steam to download a bunch of stuff? My internet won't like that at all..
Hi. You can use symbolic links to keep the workshop, and purchased dlc packages on a seperate drive. That easily frees up a shitload of space. I have no idea why rf2 makes you keep those files after installing them. Regards.
