not one of JNS tracks are his they are converts of other companies tracks. On one hand i can't see why you would need his permission to do anything on the other hand I see them as private party to another company who would have every legal right to sue for infringement whether it be you or him. just risky. I assume conversion of any ISI created track is fine and one you might have created from scratch for rf1 also.
well personally i would rather be safe than sorry release something that was not mine and get in trouble or ask and maybe get a yes its ok to release even if it does belong to someone else
Things must be even slower over at arca, mention JNS and they come running. I didn't waste my time on you guys over the years and I see no point in wasting my time now. back on topic, les's question has been taken care of and I'm looking forward to seeing what he has done.
True. I'm not a track maker/builder so I have a different attitude I suppose. I've noticed though once somebody gets to enjoy a high quality ripped track that their attitude changes as well. lol.
its a good thing you haven't less chance of us getting lower qualtiy tracks. i was just trying to help him see the legality of such things. I'm sure ISI created their software to see the creativity of the modding community and what could be done, not the converting community and what could be hacked.
jns tracks are not low quality in my opinion to each there own though i will be releasing these tracks i have a few more things to do to them and then bang ill release
here is a picture at 530pm look further down the track look at the track should it look like this View attachment 1154
Guys, do you know who is the author of laser scanned Oran Park for rfactor1? I was thinking that it could be a good idea to do a new version for rf2, but with original road mesh, especially if it's laser scanned.
As Seb Vettel says..."YES baby..yes. That's what I'm talking about." Heck! If you can get permission to do this and make it as great as Croft, I may never drive another track. That's the gold standard.
