[WIP] Queensland Raceways Track Pack

    Basically finished the buildings and garages with new mapping and AO textures.
    That will do and the next thing will be adding a few trees in the distance and then the alternate layouts and make sure they work as they should.

    The real track has a new owner and he is doing huge additions and renovations in the next year. I may ask his permission if I can update this as well to reflect the real thing.

    This is as far as I am going with QR at the moment. It is pretty well finished, just may go though some texture setting and adjust.

    Will release this update ASAP.

    Queensland Raceways Ver. 0.87

    This is the last major update to QR.

    All 4 circuits are included. AI seems to be working and cars pitting etc.

    Please report any issues and I will do my best to fix.

    Changes:

    * Completely done new terrain around the whole track.

    * AO textures on all buildings where needed

    * Added over 1,000 trees

    * Completely new entrance and outer road

    * New grass textures and many new / replaced objects around the track.

    * There will be no PBR texture updates.

    To be done;

    * AIW files fine tuned

    * Minor updates to existing textures and sponsors to bring the track up to date

    * Version 1.00 will be the final of this track unless the new owner allows me to continue to work on this track

    * Conversion to AC in the new year.

    Without modders like Mike this game would not have lived so long. Hopefully we keep this great modding community like AC has.

    Hi Mike, raced the fvr supercars on Lakeside and unfortunately a heap of issues with ai crashing and running of the road especially at the end of main straight and the back straight (dunlop bridge). Do you have further plans to develop/improve the AI as currently it isn’t really raceable currently. The track graphically is stunning and the attention to detail second to none but it would be awesome to see a new AI file to address some issues. Thanks

    Hey mate...darn...OK I will get onto it. I had the AIW updated but it seems an issue and I even found in the rain it is not great with faster cars etc.

    I will have a go over the next few days and see if I can improve it...Sorry about that :)

    Yes, it may be that such powerful cars in such a small track need a specific AIW for them. I´ll try to do some decent laps but V8´s are a handful.

    Just for interest: at which AI settings have you experienced the AI issues?

    Multiplayer using FVR 2020 mod at 100%. Cars just can’t stay on track in the race, they get really desperate on back straight and pretty much a crash every lap.

    ok, i tried the FVR 2021 yesterday at Lakeside. AI at 100%, 45 aggression and 5% limiter and had zero problems
